The four Palestinian passengers of a taxi wait behind the driver as a soldier checks their papers at Huwara checkpoint, just outside Nablus. Again they are moving between one Palestinian area, Nablus, and another Palestinian area, Huwara. This checkpoint earned great notoriety early on in the intifada because soldiers were found to be regularly assaulting Palestinians. Machsom Watch emerged to prevent such incidents.
